A look at Jn 8:30-36.  When Jesus offers the Jews true freedom, they deny they need it.  Thus they were destined to remain in bondage to sin.

The first few minutes of the lesson were lost. Jim begins with the context of John 8 as Jesus is teaching in the temple, challenging the Pharisees and Sadducees. The audio picks up with Jim's remarks about John 8:21-24.
