Theme for 2020: “Christ in You, the Hope of glory”
As Paul writes to the Colossians, he seeks to reaffirm the all sufficiency of Christ against the backdrop of empty human speculations. Christians today need to have the same singular, exclusive relationship with Christ, but it comes from a true and complete commitment to Him. As our faith grows, and Christ grows within us, we also see our hope of glory grow and create strength and confidence in our future glory.
We need no doctrine but the pure gospel of Christ; we need no other savior than Christ; we must not add to or take away from the totality of who Christ is. Sermons throughout the year will highlight this theme: Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.
